Terms of service
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These terms apply when you use imenu.ai or buy a service from iMenu (“iMenu”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy policy, Refund and cancellation policy, and Delivery policy.
1. Who we are
iMenu is a software studio. We design, build, and launch custom web apps, and we run our own software products. You can reach us at hello@imenu.ai.
2. Our services
- The 7-day build: a custom web app, from idea to launch in 7 days, for a fixed price of $1,500.
- Follow-up sprints: further work on an app after launch, scoped and priced in writing before it starts.
- Products: ready-made software, such as Stores, offered as subscriptions on their own websites.
3. Scope and the Day 1 spec
On Day 1 we turn your idea into screens and a written plan (the “spec”). The spec defines what we will build during the week. Building starts only after you approve it.
A 7-day build covers one complete core flow, user accounts and login, a database, an admin view, deployment on your domain, the source code in your GitHub, and a handover call with written docs. Multiple complex user roles, payments, native mobile apps, and large integrations are not part of a 7-day build. They can be added in follow-up sprints.
If you ask for changes beyond the approved spec, we'll tell you whether they fit in the week. If they don't, we'll propose a follow-up sprint with its own price.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. The 7-day build costs $1,500, paid in full when you order. Follow-up sprints are paid in full before each sprint starts.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
Product subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel.
5. Schedule and your part
Day 1 is the kickoff date we agree with you after payment. Launch is on Day 7.
To keep the schedule, we need you to answer our questions and review the daily preview within one working day, and to give us access to anything the app needs, such as your domain or third-party accounts. If we're waiting on you, the schedule moves by the same amount of time.
If we miss Day 7 for reasons on our side, you choose: we keep working at no extra cost until the approved spec is delivered, or you cancel and get a full refund.
6. Ownership of the code
You own the code we write for you. The repository lives in your GitHub account from day one, and all rights in the custom code belong to you once your order is paid.
Your app may use open-source libraries and third-party services, which stay under their own licenses and terms. We keep the right to reuse our general know-how, tools, and techniques, as long as they don't contain your confidential information.
7. Third-party costs
Your app runs on services such as hosting, a domain, email, or APIs. These accounts are in your name, and you pay their fees directly unless we agree otherwise in writing. We list any expected running costs in the spec.
8. What we don't build
We don't build apps that are illegal, that infringe other people's rights, that deceive or harm people, or that fall under Stripe's prohibited businesses. We may decline or stop such a project, and refund you in line with our Refund and cancellation policy.
9. Confidentiality
We keep your idea, your data, and anything you share with us confidential, and use it only to deliver your project. We mention that we worked with you, or show your app as an example, only with your permission.
10. Delivery and fixes
On Day 7 we deliver the app described in the approved spec. If something in the spec doesn't work as described, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we'll fix it at no cost.
Beyond that, the app is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee that it will be error-free, or that it will reach goals that aren't in the spec, such as a number of users or sales.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
12. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time. What you get back depends on how far the project has gone, as explained in our Refund and cancellation policy.
13. Questions and disputes
If something goes wrong, email us first at hello@imenu.ai. Most issues are solved quickly that way, and it's faster than a payment dispute.
These terms are governed by the laws of the US state where iMenu is registered.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top shows the latest update.
